A time-limited opportunity for coaches preparing for the Fall 2026 CHWC pilot exam — offered only by designated organizations during the early phase of CHWC launch.
The CHWC Bridge Pathway is a limited opportunity for coaches who want to prepare for the clinical exam but who do not meet transitional eligibility requirements. Through this pathway, select organizations will offer additional training and readiness support designed to help coaches prepare for the Fall CHWC exam.
Only designated organizations are permitted to offer a CHWC Bridge Pathway program. Each organization will design its own offering, so program structure, format, timeline, and learning experience may vary.
Coaches who successfully complete one of these pathways and receive an attestation from the organization regarding completion will be eligible to apply for the Fall pilot exam. Attestation letters from successfully completing a Bridge Pathway will be honored through 2028.
The Bridge Pathway serves as a third transitional eligibility option during the early phase of launching the CHWC exams, ahead of the launch of many of the accredited training pathways. It is intended to support workforce development while maintaining a clear and limited route to exam eligibility.
The CHWC Bridge Pathway is a temporary, time-limited initiative designed to support clinical readiness and field learning ahead of permanent accreditation pathways.
